Autism Cleveland Pty Ltd is a private consultancy business and provider of autism support services, based in Cleveland, Queensland.
We offer early childhood early intervention services for children under 7 years of age who are suspected of or have already been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We aim to offer a child and family centred, strength-based approach that builds on your child’s existing experiences and skills.
Our professional, friendly consultant will work with you and your child to build a trusting and collaborative relationship that will always have your child’s best interest at heart. Autism Cleveland only uses evidence-based strategies and practices that are backed up by robust research evidence.
We provide services in relation to:
- Positive behaviour support for behaviours that challenge
- Positive behaviour support plans and/or individual education plans
- Functional Behaviour Assessment in your home/early childhood setting/primary school
- Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Planned interventions for individual and/or educational supports
- Play skills/pre-academic/school readiness/academic
- Adaptive (self-help) skills
- Delayed development covering all developmental domains (physical, cognitive, language, emotional and social skills)
- Transitions (from home to pre-school/kindergarten to primary school
- Sensory sensitivities coaching for parents and carers

Our autism consultant has worked in early childhood for more than 30 years and holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood from Queensland University of Technology and a Post Graduate degree in Autism from Griffith University’s Autism Centre of Excellence (ACE). She currently lectures in early childhood education and care for a private higher education provider in Brisbane city.
Autism Cleveland are guided in our work by the National Guidelines for supporting the learning, participation, and well-being of autistic children and their families in Australia (Autism CRC, 2022).
Self-managed NDIS and self-funded clients welcome.
Services are also available for children up to 18 years of age.
Note: We are not a NDIS registered provider.

Bookings
To book an appointment, see below for available days and times. All appointments are one-hour in duration.
After booking an appointment you will be emailed a confirmation, here you will fill in your full name, your child’s name, your child’s age, your telephone number and email address, in addition to the reason for the appointment (what your child needs help with).
Sessions are charged per hour and fee information are available below. (Fees are subject to change and reviewed annually).
Each session booked must be paid for on arrival and prior to the commencement of the session.
Cancellation fees apply. Please see below for the cancellation policy.
Consultation $200 per hour plus GST.
Coaching (Parent/Caregiver) $200 per hour plus GST.
Home Visit $200 per hour plus GST for locations within 25 kms of Cleveland. Locations that are in excess of 25 kms from Cleveland will incur an additional fee to cover cost of time spent travelling, up to a maximum of one hour each way.
Pre-school/Kindy/School visit $200 per hour plus GST. Additional fee applies for travel in excess of 25 kms from Cleveland to cover cost of time spent travelling, up to a maximum of one hour each way.
Professional Development for Staff/Educators/Caregivers/Teachers $ Prices on application
- Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder (2-3 hours) face-to-face at your chosen location.

Cancellations
A consultation/service cancelled by the client within 3 *working days prior to the appointment or service provision date will be charged at 50% of the full fee. A consultation/service cancelled within 2 working days prior the appointment will incur a fee of 75% of the full fee. A consultation/service cancelled within 1 day of, or on the day of the appointment will be charged 100% fee.
